Good morning, fb. Don't wait until after you have already fallen apart and proven you can't handle things on your own before you run to God for help. Know ahead of time that you can't before you even try. Be totally dependent on God. I truly hope you all embrace His mercy today. God bless you. I love you. And please, enjoy your day...
Good afternoon, fb. What we want is relief. We want our problem or heartache to just go away. And yet the biblical message of rest is that your relief may come from the power we gain when we accept our suffering. Our relief may come from the strength we develop from serving in spite of it.
Good afternoon, fb. If we go against our spiritual foes, we must go in the strength of God (Ephsians 6:10-18), having first put away from our hearts the evil we have done, through repentance. Faith and a conscience void of offense toward God and man make a winning combination.
Good afternoon, fb. Let me state something important. There is never a time during which Jesus is not speaking. Never. There is never a place in which Jesus is not present. Never. There is never a room so dark. . . a lounge so sensual. . . an office so sophisticated. . . that the ever-present, ever-pursuing, relentlessly tender Friend is not there, tapping gently on door of our hearts--waiting to be invited in.
Good evening, fb. Many Christians often feel superior to other groups--as if we had done something great to earn our acceptance before God. Instead, God's gift of salvation should make us humble and grateful. God bless you all and goodnight
Good afternoon, fb. "It is finished" (John 19:30). How could Jesus say it is finished? There were still the hungry to feed, the sick to heal, the untaught to instruct, and the unloved to love. How could He say He was finished? He had completed His designated task. His commission was fulfilled. The Painter could set aside His brush, the Sculptor law down His chisel, the Writer put away His pen. The job is done.
Good morning, fb. God loves you. He loves you when no one else loves you. Others may abandon you, divorce you, and ignore you, but God will love you. Always. No matter what. I hope you embrace God's mercy today. God bless you. Enjoy your day.
There are four kinds of people who express destructive criticism. The blamer, the hurtful joker, the fault-finder and the cannibal. We can accept the critical person for who they are, even if we don't agree with them. We can accept their right to see the world as they see it, whether or not it coincides with our view. Take criticism, evaluate it, and apply what will be helpful
God helps us avoid future mistakes by sending people to correct us. When we are corrected, let us use the opportunity to learn and improve our attitude and work! If humility precedes an event, then confidence may follow.
June 4, 2010 Good morning, fb. Christ meets us on the outside of the throne room, takes us by the hand, and walks us into the presence of God. Upon entrance we find grace, not condemnation; mercy, not punishment. Where we would never be granted an audience with the King, we are now welcomed into His presence.
Accountability simply means being open to correction; having the willingness to be called upon to account for our actions and/or the lack thereof. Accountability brings attention to detail...
"A new level in Christ means a deeper understanding of how flawed you are... And, a greater outpour of God's best! His grace. Stay in it!"
"Let the word of God be your meditation this day. Let it continue to guide you and strengthen you in your faith-journey."
"What you confess will influence your success... Speak what God says."
Psalms 18:35 (MSG) "You protect me with salvation-armor; you hold me up with a firm hand, caress me with your gentle ways."
